Automated tube inspection in high-resolution TubeInspect is an all-in-one turnkey measurement cell specially developed for the efficient quality control of bent tubes and wires. Powered by an array of high-quality cameras that deliver unmatched optical scanning functionality, TubeInspect is all about making tube measurement as fast as possible without compromising on data quality and accuracy. Powered by the leading BendingStudio XT software platform, a TubeInspect system can become the central hub for controlling and analysing the entire tube production process. TubeInspect is available in four configurations: the industrial-sized P16.2 model and the smaller P8.2, both of which are available in a high-end HRC – high-resolution camera – version. The TubeInspect P8.2 models are suited for tubes less than 1000 millimetres long from end-to-end and with a maximum diameter of 125 millimetres. TubeInspect P16.2 models can measure tubes less than up to 7 metres long and with a maximum diameter of 200 millimetres.

With the StereoScan neo, Hexagon introduces the innovative Smart Phase Projection (SPP) technology, which employs a new fringe projection pattern to yield the highest quality data on even the most difficult surfaces. The SPP technology represents a large step forward in optical 3D scanning, improving on classic fringe projection patterns to allow for better scanning of glossy and dark surfaces without pre-treatment.

The compact and mobile 3D structured light scanner Fast and highly accurate, the SmartScan optical 3D scanner is among the leading measurement solutions for complex surface geometries and fragile or deformable parts where portability is a necessity. The non-contact structured light scanning technology of the SmartScan enables very fast data acquisition at a high level of detail. The scanner’s compact design and low weight allow for fully mobile usage, including within challenging workshop conditions. Even under the demands of temperature fluctuation, the scanner maintains extremely stable and reliable performance, based on its carbon-fibre structure.

Simple and precise optical 3D scanning The PrimeScan optical 3D scanner line from Hexagon is an attractive entry-level solution for highly precise 3D digitisation of industrial components. Like other Hexagon structured light scanner models, the PrimeScan is based on fringe projection technology that provides the strongest luminous power and highest projection quality.
