The Technovit 4021 powder-liquid system is absolutely odor-free thanks to the absence of MMA, contains NO tetrahydrofurfuryl methacrylate, styrene or the like and therefore no substances harmful to the fertility. When selecting the other components, emphasis was placed on low-pollutant ingredients.

Technovit 4021 is a fast product and works very efficiently due to its short polymerisation time of 5 minutes. Even fine sample geometries are well filled thanks to the low viscosity.

Properties and applications
The mixing ratio of 2 parts liquid to 3 parts powder can be adjusted by simply measuring with a measuring spoon – exact weighing is not necessary, but of course possible. This makes Technovit 4021 a very safe to use product, which ensures easy reproducibility for your daily work. In addition, the product does not release any vapors, so it can be used without a deduction – ideal for routine embedding, e.g. in production.

Thanks to controlled polymerisation parameters, Technovit 4021 cures almost without bubbles, which means that a pressure pot is not necessary.

Technovit 4021 was developed as a universal investment material. Moderate polymerization temperatures and low gap formation allow a wide range of preparation options, applicable to a wide range of material samples.

The good mechanical workability and abrasion resistance guarantee a simple, flat and sharp-edged grinding preparation of the vast majority of materials. Cleaning the ground joint with water-based or slightly ethanol-based agents is also very easy and quick.
